Pura

Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-05-23

The short version

Pura is informational. It is not medical advice. By using it, you agree we are not liable if you eat or use something you would have been better off without. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel them in iPhone Settings. We can change these terms; if anything material changes, we will tell you.

Agreement

By installing or using Pura, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pura on iOS devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or sell the app or any part of it.

Subscription

Pura offers paid subscriptions and one-time credit packs. Pricing is shown inside the app before you confirm.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (weekly or annual) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel any subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Apple processes all purchases. Refund requests go to Apple, not to us. Apple's refund policy is what governs whether you get your money back.

Credit packs are consumable. They do not auto-renew. They do not expire on our side. Apple does not refund consumable purchases unless you have not yet used them.

Disclaimer

Pura is informational. It is not a medical device. It is not medical advice. It is not a diagnosis. It is not a treatment plan.

If you have a health condition — including but not limited to allergies, pregnancy, diabetes, kidney disease, or any other condition where what you eat or apply to your body matters — you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions based on a Pura scan. The personalization features inside Pura are a starting point, not the final word.

Ingredient analysis can be wrong. Labels can be read incorrectly. Products reformulate. Regulatory bodies update their guidance. We do our best, but we cannot promise the app is always right.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the Pura team nor anyone working on Pura is liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This includes — but is not limited to — health outcomes, allergic reactions, purchase decisions, or anything else downstream of a scan result.

Your remedy is to stop using the app.

Termination

You can stop using Pura at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service for users who abuse it, attempt to circumvent the subscription system, or otherwise violate these terms. We do not delete your subscription rights through Apple; those are governed by Apple.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Istanbul.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top will move.
